Wicked, The, are compared to

  • Abominable branches.

    Isaiah 14:19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

  • Ashes under the feet.

    Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

  • Bad fishes.

    Matthew 13:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

  • Brass and iron, &c.

  • Moth-eaten garments.

  • Reprobate silver.

    Jeremiah 6:30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

  • Scorpions.

  • Wayward children.

    Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

  • Wells without water.

    2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

  • Wheels.

    Psalm 83:13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

  • Whited sepulchres.
